Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive Penang

Selamat datang! Welcome to Malaysia. 

Day 2: Penang

After breakfast in your hotel, tour the old town of Penang, taking in the historic shophouses, narrow streets and unique atmosphere. Enjoy lunch at a hawker food centre, where your leader will select a variety of interesting local dishes for the group to try. Your transfer to the boat will be by rickshaw and set sail for Langkawi at around 5 pm. After a safety briefing and welcome cocktail, sit down to your first meal on board the Panorama II as we sail overnight to Langkawi.

Day 3: Langkawi

Today, we take a tour to Telaga Tujuh Waterfall. On the way, you'll see this is a town that has retained its everyday local life and spectacular natural beauty despite it popularity among travellers. Enjoy a free evening in Langkawi to enjoy the local food and nightlife or have dinner on board the Panorama II, the choice is yours.

Day 4: Tarutao National Park

Depart Langkawi for Tarutao early this morning. A day of snorkelling, swimming, kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding is yours to enjoy in the beautiful waters around the island. For lunch, feast on a beach barbecue on Adang Island. Set sail for Ko Rok, having dinner en route. Spend the night at anchor at Ko Rok, one of many beautiful islands with white sands and blue-green waters against a jungle backdrop.

Day 5: Taruatao National Park

We spend a second day in the idyllic surroundings of Adang Island and the Tarutao National Park. Overnight at anchor.

Day 6: Ko Rok

Spend the morning enjoying the spoils of Ko Rok. We will have a picnic on the beach before returning to the Panorama II for the sail to Ao Nang. We arrive in time for a late dinner at your leisure in town.

Day 7: Ao Nang

Enjoy a free day in Ao Nang with some time to partake in a range of optional activities. Whip up some local specialties in a Thai cooking class, spot colourful tropical fish on a snorkelling trip, take the adventure to the next level with some rock climbing, unwind with a traditional Thai massage, or make tracks on two wheels to a local waterfall. Another great option is to take a longtail boat to Railay Beach or around Phang Nga Bay. Alternatively, simply stay on the Panorama II, and relax. You're free to check out the nightlife of lively Ao Nang with a free evening.

Day 8: Koh Yao Yai

Climb aboard a songtheaw for a tour with a local guide. Koh Yao Yoi is known for beautiful beaches, friendly Muslim fisherman and diverse birdlife, not to mention some delicious local seafood. We will visit a local village for a home cooked meal, jungle walk and perhaps to try some local pastimes such as coconut weaving or shooting with a handmade bow and arrow. Today is your last chance for some swimming before the trip draws to a close so we will head to an island beach for a final dip. For our last night on board, it is the Captain's dinner. Enjoy an a la carte meal while taking in a no doubt spectacular sunset. Relax and unwind as the night is spent at anchor.

Day 9: Disembark in Phuket

Departing early, cruise back to Phuket which is just a short distance away. Disembark after breakfast as the adventure comes to an end.
